Introduction

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how LifeDex ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information when you use our achievement tracking application.

Information Collection and Use

LifeDex is designed with privacy in mind. We:

• Do not collect any personal information
• Do not track your usage or behavior
• Do not use analytics services
• Do not share any data with third parties

All your achievement data and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to any external servers.

Local Data Storage

LifeDex stores the following information locally on your device:

• Achievement data you create (categories, subcategories, and achievements)
• Completion status of your achievements
• Custom dexes you create
• App preferences and settings
• Achievement visibility preferences

This data is stored securely using iOS's local storage mechanisms and is never transmitted to our servers.

Data Sharing and Export

LifeDex allows you to:

• Export your achievements as images for sharing
• Export dexes as JSON files
• Import dexes from JSON files

When you use these features, you control where your data goes. We do not receive or process this data during export or import operations.

Data Backup

Your data is automatically saved to your device's local storage. To ensure you don't lose your achievements:

• The app performs periodic background saves
• Data is saved when the app is closed
• You can manually export dexes as backup files

Data Retention and Deletion

All data stored locally can be deleted by:

• Using the "Reset Progress" option in Settings for a specific dex
• Deleting individual achievements, subcategories, or categories through the app interface
• Deleting custom dexes from the Dex Selection screen
• Uninstalling the application

Children's Privacy

LifeDex does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. All data is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to any external servers.

Security

We implement security measures to protect your data, including:

• Local storage of all data using iOS's secure storage mechanisms
• No transmission of personal data to external servers
• No collection of authentication credentials

Third-Party Services

LifeDex does not integrate with any third-party services for:

• Analytics
• Advertising
• User tracking
• Data collection

We do not share your data with any third parties.

App Permissions

LifeDex may request the following permissions:

• Photo Library access (only when exporting achievement images)
• File system access (only when importing or exporting dexes)

These permissions are used solely for the functionality described and not for data collection.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the App Store listing and within the app when applicable, and updating the "Last updated" date.
